Hashtag I Win!: Fun

My kids are always saying those two dreadful words "I'm bored". So we will be compiling a list (hopefully a long list) of things you can do with your kids. We will have outdoor and indoor fun!

When it snows grab a four wheeler and pull the kiddos behind it on a sled. You can't go wrong here!
Go skydiving! Ok, don't take your kids skydiving... But I would suggest if you're looking for a way to let go and throw caution to the wind (literally) GO SKYDIVING! Best choice I've ever made! Yes, I about wet myself when I looked out the plane door, but I don't regret it one bit! I even got a video to show my kids, so I think I've fallen into the "Coolest mom ever" category!

Dubsmashing! Have you ever dumbsmashed? Ya, we hadn't either until just the other day. What is more fun than dressing up in costumes and syncing your lips to famous quotes and songs?! The answer is nothing. Nothing is more fun that dressing up and syncing your lips to famous quotes and songs. Download the Dubsmash app and get to having fun. Put some capes on and set up a tent. For real, you don't even have to do anything and your're considered AWESOME!

You're Only A Mom

You're a mom. We get breakfast ready, pack lunches, make beds, dress the kids, get kids to school, we go to work, come home and chase the kids around until we walk a fine line between going crazy and trying to get the kids to listen. We then make dinner, bathe children, read bed time stories, and brush teeth.

Then bedtime comes, I really hope I'm not the only mom who's kids find every excuse in the universe to get out of their bed. "I'm thirsty. I want to sleep on the couch. It's dark outside," and my personal favorite "there is an alligator in my bed," to this day (he came up with this when he was 3, he is now 5) he will not sleep under the covers, he sleeps on top of them with his favorite blanket on top of him.

After the "crazies" are safe and snug in their beds we relax right? That's a negative! Now we do laundry, dishes, pick up the house, take a shower because there is no possible time to work that in during the morning and then maybe if you're lucky you might be able to squeeze in an episode of "FRIENDS" before you climb in to bed.

I suppose you noticed there is no mention of spending time with your spouse. Sometimes we get a quick "high five" in and if we're lucky we'll get to have a conversation after the kids are in bed and if we're really lucky we'll get to watch "FRIENDS" together! But we love each other and all the craziness is what makes our love grow!
